Switzerland County Athletics

The Switzerland County Lady Pacers traveled to Madison on Tuesday, September 15, for a match at Sunrise Golf Course against Madison, Southwestern, Rising Sun, and South Ripley. The Lady Pacers finished the regular season with another team victory, shooting a 191! Leading the way for Switzerland County: ● Senior Alexis Mangold — 40 ● Sophomore Brinley Bear — 44 ● Sophomore Paige Gregory — 47 ● Sophomore Raven Ashcraft — 60 Congratulations to all four Lady Pacers on another great team performance! 👏️‍♀️ ❤️ A Coach's Message The Lady Pacers will now have a few days to rest, regroup, and prepare for Saturday's Sectional, which will be held right back at Sunrise Golf Course. These ladies have had a tremendous season, and I couldn't be more proud of them. Our seniors, Alexis Mangold and Payton Stow, have provided leadership throughout the season and have worked extremely hard. They have both had outstanding careers, and I am thankful for everything they have given to Switzerland County girls golf. And then there are our sophomores — Paige Gregory, Brinley Bear, and Raven Ashcraft. These three are like honey badgers. 😂 They aren't scared of anything. They show up, they compete, and they keep fighting. They have grown so much this season, and I am excited to see what the future holds for them. To all of my Lady Pacers: Thank you for letting me watch you play. Thank you for trusting me as your coach. And thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a great season. As a coach, you hope for seasons like this — not just because of wins and scores, but because of the memories, the friendships, the leadership, and watching young ladies grow.
