Switzerland County Athletics

The Switzerland County Lady Pacers hosted the South Dearborn Lady Knights at Belterra Golf Course last night for Senior Night, celebrating two seniors who have played a tremendous role in building the Lady Pacer golf program. The Pacers were led by Senior Alexis Mangold, who fired a 43, followed by Senior Payton Stow with a 48. Alexis and Payton have literally helped build this program from the ground up. Their commitment to the game, their teammates, and Switzerland County golf has helped create an opportunity for other young Pacer ladies to discover the game of golf. Alexis is planning to pursue a career in the medical field and is also looking at opportunities to continue playing golf in college. Payton has big plans of her own—she says she's planning on becoming wealthy while pursuing a career in conservation! 😄 While their high school golf careers are coming to an end, the impact Alexis and Payton have made will continue long after they leave the program. Hopefully, their example will inspire the next generation of Pacer ladies to pick up a golf club, give the game a chance, and become part of something special.
